Driver Hire Colchester is recruiting reliable Class 1 HGV Drivers for day shifts across Colchester and the surrounding areas.
Pay rate: £17.37-£21.00 per hour
Job type: Temporary, ad-hoc and ongoing work
Schedule: Day shifts, Monday to Sunday
The role:
- Completing general Class 1 deliveries
- Carrying out vehicle checks before each shift
- Completing delivery paperwork
- Following all drivers' hours and working-time regulations
- Providing a professional service to customers
Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than six penalty points
- A reliable and professional attitude
- Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends
- Previous Class 1 driving experience is preferred
We have a mixture of ad-hoc shifts and ongoing assignments available, making this suitable for drivers looking for extra work or regular weekly bookings.
