Driver Hire Colchester are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Class 2 (Category C) Driver on behalf of our client. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with full training provided and long-term career prospects.
The Role:
- Delivering plant and access machinery to customer sites
- Loading and unloading equipment using beavertail lorries (full training provided)
- Demonstrating machinery to customers where required
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 07:30 – 17:30 (45 hours per week)
- Overtime available for early starts and late finishes
Pay & Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate (paid weekly via Driver Hire)
- Temp-to-perm opportunity with a reputable company
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays (including Christmas shutdown)
- Full training provided
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC & Digital Tachograph card
- Minimum age of 25 (insurance purposes)
- Good communication skills and customer-facing attitude
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
