About the Role

Driver Hire Colchester is currently looking for an experienced Class 2 MOFFETT HGV Driver to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver who is reliable, safety-conscious, and confident operating a vehicle-mounted forklift (Moffett). You will be responsible for delivering goods to customers across East Anglia, ensuring timely and safe deliveries while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving a Class 2 (Category C) HGV vehicle
  • Operating a Moffett (truck-mounted forklift) to load and unload goods
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring roadworthiness
  • Delivering goods safely and efficiently to customer sites
  • Completing delivery paperwork accurately
  • Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
  • Adhering to all health & safety and driving regulations

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence (min 12 months)
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Moffett licence/certification
  • Min 21 years old
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred
  • Good knowledge of UK driving laws and regulations
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
