Driver Hire Colchester is recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a permanent, full-time position with one of our valued clients. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers seeking long-term employment, guaranteed hours, and competitive pay.

Salary: £17.50 per hour

Overtime: paid at the same rate

Guaranteed: 40 hours per week

Working Hours: Full-time, permanent position, any 5 days from 6 (Monday to Saturday), typical start times between 04:00 and 06:00

Duties:

  • Multi-drop foodservice deliveries
  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Heavy manual handling required
  • Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
  • Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork

Requirements:

  • Valid Category C (Class 2) licence
  • Driver CPC qualification
  • Digital Tachograph card
  • Good level of physical fitness
