Driver Hire Colchester is currently seeking experienced HIAB Drivers to support a number of our clients across Colchester and the surrounding areas. This is a day shift role with competitive pay rates and the opportunity for ongoing work.
Pay Rate: £18.00 – £21.00 per hour (depending on experience and client placement)
The Role:
- Operating HIAB vehicles for the safe delivery of building materials and other goods
- Carrying out deliveries to construction sites, builders’ merchants, and residential addresses
- Operating the HIAB crane safely and efficiently
- Completing vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy
- Ensuring all paperwork and delivery notes are completed correctly
- Representing Driver Hire and our clients professionally
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) Licence
- Valid HIAB / Lorry Loader Certificate (ALLMI preferred)
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous HIAB experience preferred
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
- Reliable and professional attitude
