Driver Hire Colchester is currently seeking experienced HGV Class 2 Tipper Drivers to support our clients across Colchester and the surrounding areas. This is a day shift role with competitive pay and ongoing work opportunities.
Pay Rate: £16.00 – £17.00 per hour (depending on experience and client placement)
The Role:
- Operating HGV Class 2 tipper vehicles transporting aggregates, muck-away, and materials
- Delivering to construction sites, quarries, and commercial locations
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy
- Ensuring loads are transported safely and tipped correctly on site
- Completing all relevant paperwork and complying with driver hours regulations
- Representing Driver Hire Colchester and our clients professionally
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous tipper experience preferred
- Good understanding of health and safety on construction sites
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
