Driver Hire Colchester is currently seeking reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Drivers for haulage work with our clients across Colchester and the surrounding areas. This role offers day shifts with competitive pay and the opportunity for ongoing work.
Pay Rate: £15.00 – £16.15 per hour (depending on experience and client placement)
The Role:
- Driving HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles for haulage and delivery work
- Transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations
- Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy
- Ensuring all delivery paperwork and records are completed accurately
- Adhering to driver hours, tachograph rules, and road safety regulations
- Representing Driver Hire Colchester and our clients professionally
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
- Good knowledge of UK driving laws and driver hours regulations
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
