Driver Hire Colchester is currently seeking reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to support a range of our clients across Colchester and the surrounding areas. This role offers day shifts with competitive pay and the opportunity for ongoing work.
Pay Rate: £16.00 – £19.00 per hour (depending on experience and client placement)
The Role:
- Driving HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for deliveries and trunking work
- Completing vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy
- Delivering goods safely and efficiently to designated locations
- Completing all necessary paperwork and adhering to driver hours regulations
- Representing Driver Hire and our clients in a professional manner
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
- Good knowledge of driver hours and road safety regulations
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
