Driver Hire Colchester is currently seeking reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Night Drivers to work with a variety of our clients across Colchester and the surrounding areas. This is a part-time opportunity ideal for drivers looking for flexible night work with competitive pay.
Pay Rates:
- Monday – Thursday: £20.00 per hour
- Friday – Sunday: £23.00 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Carrying out night trunking or delivery work depending on client requirements
- Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring vehicles are roadworthy
- Delivering goods safely and efficiently to designated locations
- Completing all relevant paperwork and complying with driver hours regulations
- Maintaining a professional attitude when representing Driver Hire and our clients
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous HGV driving experience preferred
- Good knowledge of driver hours and road transport regulations
- Reliable, punctual and professional
