Driver Hire Colchester is currently recruiting experienced and professional HIAB drivers to support our growing client base across Colchester and the surrounding areas. Whether you are looking for regular work or flexible shifts, we have a variety of opportunities available with immediate starts.
Location: Colchester & surrounding areas
Shifts Available: Days, nights and weekends; Full-time and part-time options; Ongoing and ad-hoc work
Pay: Excellent rates, paid weekly (HIAB premium)
The Role: You will be operating a HIAB-mounted crane to load and unload materials safely at customer sites. Work may include builders merchants, construction sites, and commercial deliveries. All roles involve daily vehicle checks and safe, professional operation.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV licence (Class 2 or Class 1 depending on vehicle)
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- HIAB licence (ALLMI / NPORS / RTITB)
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Previous HIAB experience preferred
- Professional, safety-focused attitude
