Driver Hire Colchester are currently recruiting for a Dustcart Driver. We are seeking an experienced and reliable HGV driver to work with one of our clients operating dustcart/refuse collection vehicles in the Colchester area.
Job Details:
- Pay rate: £17.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday work
- Early morning starts
- Ongoing and ad hoc work available
- Immediate start
The Role:
- Driving and operating refuse collection (dustcart) vehicles
- Working as part of a collection team on residential or commercial routes
- Ensuring collections are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Following all health & safety procedures
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence preferred
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous refuse or dustcart experience advantageous but not essential
- Good understanding of safety procedures
- Reliable and team-focused attitude
