Driver Hire Colchester is seeking professional and reliable Class 1 (HGV Cat C+E) Drivers to support our expanding client base across Colchester and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for flexible work, ongoing assignments, or the chance to secure a permanent role.
The Role
- Trunking, general haulage and depot-to-depot work
- Curtain sider, container and refrigerated trailers (depending on client)
- Local and regional deliveries
- Completing vehicle checks and ensuring full compliance with tachograph and driving regulations
- Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements)
- Minimum 6-12 months Class 1 experience preferred
- Good understanding of UK driving laws and WTD regulations
- Reliable, punctual and professional
