Job Title: Class 2 HGV Driver
Location: Chelmsford, Harlow, Ongar & Surrounding Areas
Salary: £36,000-£38,000 per year (Temp to Perm)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (after initial temp period)
Responsibilities
- Multi-drop deliveries and collections of palletised goods
- Operating within a structured pallet network
- Ensuring safe and timely deliveries across Essex and London
- Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC and Digi Tacho card
- No more than 6 points
- Strong knowledge of London routes and traffic patterns
- Experience with electric pallet trucks and tail lifts
- Customer-focused, punctual, and safety-conscious
Additional Details
- Start times between 06:30 – 08:00 depending on workload
- 45 hours/week, Monday to Friday
- Overtime available
- Profit-related pay bonus (twice yearly)
- Christmas bonus
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays
- Forklift licence is an advantage
