We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Hiab Driver to deliver building and landscaping materials to customer sites and private properties, including London driving. Work may be ad-hoc, temporary, or ongoing depending on seasonal demand.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and digital tachograph card
- No more than 6 points
- Valid Hiab licence - ALLMI preferred or RTITB accepted
- Commercial driving experience, including London driving
- Builders' merchant experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of materials
- Operating Hiab crane safely
- Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle checks
- Maintaining vehicle and equipment
- Providing excellent customer service
- Assisting with yard/loading duties when required
- Adhering to all Health & Safety regulations
Pay & Benefits
- £15.25 per hour (minimum 10 hours)
- £2.00 extra per hour for Hiab operation
- Holiday pay included, bringing total to £19.33 per hour
