HGV Class 1 Container & General Haulage Driver

Pay Rate:

£16.50 per hour (PAYE) – minimum 10 hours paid per day

Job Type: Full-time / Ongoing work/Adhoc work – days and nights
We are recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for container work and general haulage. This role involves regular port work, therefore port experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Class 1 driving for container and general haulage

Container collections and deliveries to and from UK ports
-
Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
-
Compliance with drivers\’ hours and road transport legislation

Accurate completion of paperwork and PODs
Essential Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
-
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
-
Proven Class 1 experience – mandatory

Port experience – essential

No more than 6 points on licence

Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious
