Van Driver (Cat B) – Temporary – £12.50-£14 Per Hour – Bury St Edmunds – Start Date: Immediate
We are looking for Van drivers to start immediately for our client based in Bury St Edmunds looking for Van Drivers.
The successful Van Driver can expect:
- Basic: £12.50 PAYE.
- Overtime after 8hrs: £14 PAYE.
- 28 days paid holiday pro rata on PAYE.
- Weekly Pay.
- 8hrs minimum guaranteed pay per day.
- After successful probation period, the opportunity to upskill to HGV.

As a Van Driver you must:
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence – Cat B.
- +1 year experience.
- Customer service focused, good interpersonal skills.
- Conscientious, polite, reliable, ability to work independently.
- Ability to use PDA scanners or other in-cab technology.
- Previous commercial van driving experience essential.
- Your own transport to travel to your assignment.
- Ability to undertake manual handling and heavylifting tasks.
Van drivers\’ responsibilities include:
You will be making deliveries in a 3.5 tonne vehicle to homes and businesses around the East Anglian region. Start times are generally between 6am – 8am, Monday to Friday, weekends sometimes available. Flexible days are available.
This position is commutable from Thetford, Brandon, Newmarket, and other areas nearby to Bury St Edmunds.
