We are looking for Class 1 HGV Driver + HIAB to start immediately for our growing client base across the IP postcode.
The successful Class 1 HGV Driver + HIAB will receive:
- Depending on experience:
- £18 - £22 Basic
- £27 - £33 Saturdays
- £36 - £44 Sundays
What to expect as a Class 1 HGV Driver + HIAB:
Working Monday to Friday, you will be driving Class 1 & 2 vehicles delivering and collecting industrial boilers, plant & machinery as required. Working times are 0730hrs to 1630hrs. Overtime is available.
The ideal candidate will have experience in plant fitter duties such as preparation of tractor unit & trailers ready for MOT and replace / repair on site. 8-weekly checks etc. This is a permanent position with immediate start available out of Mildenhall. When you are not driving, you will be expected to help in the workshop as required.
As a Class 1 HGV Driver + HIAB you must:
- Full UK Driving Licence with Class 1 (C+E) entitlement
- Current CPC & Digicard
- HIAB/Lorry Mounted Loader with Hook attachment
- Forklift desirable
- Experience with lorry maintenance and repairs desired.
- Have no more than 6 effective penalty points.
- No DG, DD or IN endorsements.
This position is commutable from Thetford, Bury St Edmunds, Brandon, Barrow, Newmarket, Soham and Mildenhall.
