We are looking for HGV ADR Drivers to start ASAP for our growing client base across the IP postcode, with all the support from our experienced Driver Hire team in Bury St Edmunds. Just passed? No problem - we welcome newly qualified drivers for this role too!
The successful HGV ADR Driver will receive:
- Class 1: £18 basic / £20.50 overtime & Saturday / £22.50 Sunday
- Class 2: £16.50 basic / £19 overtime & Saturday / £20.50 Sunday
Guaranteed 10hrs per day. 28 days holiday prorated on PAYE. Upskilling to HGV, ADR and HIAB after satisfactory probation period. Referral Bonus - Introduce a friend to us and you receive a bonus!
What to expect as a HGV ADR Driver:
Working Tuesday to Saturday as standard, you will be driving a Class 1 or Class 2 (dependant on your licence) box lorry with tail lift to medical sites around the East of England to collect waste in large commercial waste bins and return to base for incineration. Class 1 drivers must be prepared to drive wag 'n' drag. Start time ranges from 0400hrs - 0600hrs and shifts will typically be 10hrs long. This is a Temporary to Permanent role for the right candidate. Salary when perm is over £40K per annum.
As a HGV ADR Driver you must:
- Class 1 or Class 2 (Cat CE or Cat C)
- ADR in Packages (Cat 3,6,9)
- Current CPC Card
- Current Digi-card
- Have no more than 6 effective penalty points
- No DG, DD or IN endorsements
