Full-time position with the potential to become permanent. £14.00 or £15.69 per hour. Our client based in Burton requires a Class 2 (Cat C) driver to join the team on a temp-to-perm contract. You will be responsible for the timely delivery and offloading of goods to their retail stores around the country, driving a Class 2 Rigid vehicle. This role is Mon-Fri with 1 overnight stay every fortnight. Start times vary between 02:00 and 06:00 in the morning.
Duties:
- Delivering a variety of retail products to different locations across the UK.
- Completing 5 to 7 deliveries per shift, depending on the daily schedule.
- Ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Handballing cages off the trailer using the tail lift.
Pay:
- £15.69ph (PAYE Advanced - Inclusive of holidays)
- £14.00ph (PAYE Accrued - Accrued holiday)
Requirements:
- HGV Class 2 (C) licence with a minimum of 1 year experience
- Valid CPC card and Digital Tacho card
- Able to physically fit as handballing of cages will be required
