Class 1 Driver

£16.50 to £18.49 per hour
Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver to join our client’s busy pallet distribution operation based in Burton upon Trent. Working with a well-established and respected transport company, you’ll play a key role in delivering and collecting palletised goods for businesses across the region, ensuring excellent service and on-time deliveries. This is a position on days, with start times around 05:00/06:00 AM.
Pay Rates / Working Hours
- £16.50 per hour (+ accrual of holidays)
- £18.49 per hour (inclusive of holidays)
- Overtime payable after 8 hours
Job Requirements
- HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of 12 months’ experience
- Valid CPC card and Digital Tacho card
- Handballing required
- Ratchets and Straps experience
- Professional Manner
- Safety-focused approach
