Driver Hire Bristol is recruiting for a Class 2 (Category C) Driver to carry out bulk wood pellet deliveries to commercial and residential customers. This is a full-time, secure role with full training provided and strong long-term prospects for the right candidate.
£37,000 Basic | OTE £40K+ | Weekly Pay | Full Training
The Role:
- Deliver bulk wood pellets to domestic and commercial delivery sites
- Operate manual Class 2 tanker‑style vehicles in line with company procedures
- Ensure the vehicle is safe, roadworthy, and compliant at all times
- Load and discharge product safely, following site‑specific delivery processes
- Obtain customer signatures and provide a professional, customer‑focused service
- Identify and report unsafe delivery conditions promptly
- Work pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a winter Saturday rota
- Overtime available and expected during peak winter season and as required throughout the year
Pay & Benefits:
- Basic salary £37,000
- OTE £40K+ with overtime and seasonal enhancements
- Weekly PAYE pay (holiday pay included via advanced holiday payment method)
