Driver Hire Bristol is actively recruiting for experienced Class 2 (Cat C) HIAB drivers, ideally with brick grab experience, to support a range of clients across Bristol and the surrounding areas. Whether you're looking for full-time hours, occasional shifts, or temp-to-perm opportunities, we’ve got work to suit your lifestyle.
The Role
- Working with a variety of companies across the builders merchants and construction sectors.
- HIAB deliveries using brick grab attachments.
- Delivering building materials to commercial and residential sites.
- Safe loading and unloading using HIAB crane.
- Ensuring all paperwork and delivery records are completed correctly.
- Flexible start times - primarily day shifts with limited weekend work available.
- Regular ongoing work with reputable builders merchants.
Pay & Benefits
- £19.50 to £25.00 per hour (depending on role and shift).
- Weekly pay (PAYE - advanced holiday pay method).
- Overtime paid where applicable.
- Full-time or part-time hours - you choose your schedule.
- Opportunities for temp-to-perm placements.
What You’ll Need
- Valid UK Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
- Valid HIAB (ALLMI or equivalent) certification.
- Brick grab experience highly desirable.
- Full CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- Minimum 2 years HGV driving experience required.
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or IN convictions).
- Good communication, a professional attitude, and reliability.
