Driver Hire Bristol is recruiting for a professional and reliable Class 1 (Category C+E) Tanker Driver to support a busy tanker services operation based in Avonmouth, Bristol (BS11). This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HGV driver looking for a long‑term role with overtime opportunities and performance‑based bonuses.

Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday – 42.5 hours per week
- Start and finish times vary depending on business needs:
- 06:00 – 15:00
- 06:30 – 15:30
- 07:00 – 16:00
- 07:30 – 16:30
- 08:00 – 17:00
- 08:30 – 17:30
The Role
- Operate vacuum tanker vehicles safely and efficiently
- Remove waste from customer sites and deliver non‑potable water
- Service portable toilets, welfare units, and effluent tanks where required
- Carry out vehicle checks and basic maintenance duties
- Complete all paperwork and digital records accurately using handheld systems
- Ensure high standards of customer service and health & safety compliance
- Work occasional weekends, nights out, and overtime in line with business requirements
- Maintain vehicles, pumps, hoses, and equipment to a high standard
Pay & Benefits
- £33,000 – £34,000 annual salary
- Overtime paid at time and a half
- Annual performance‑based bonus (not guaranteed)
- 22 days holiday, increasing to 25 days after 3 years' service
- Option to buy up to 5 additional holiday days
- Annual salary review

- Full UK Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tacho cards
