Class 1 CE HGV Tramping Driver

We are currently seeking an experienced Class 1 (Cat C+E) tramping driver for an immediate start to work with one of our prestigious clients in the Arundel area. Full induction and training will be provided, with a potential temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate. This role is ideal for drivers who are comfortable with night outs and seeking ongoing work with competitive pay.

• Roughly 55hours per week approximate earnings £45k-£50k per annum

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles for the delivery of goods across the UK
• Complete long-haul deliveries, often requiring nights out
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
• Assist with loading and unloading as required
• Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers

Desirable Qualities:

• Reliability and strong work ethic
• Good spoken and written English
• Own vehicle to get to shifts
• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles
• Previous knowledge and experience of refrigerated vehicles
• HGV satnav

Required:

• Possession of a valid Full UK License
• Hold Class 1 (Cat C+E) entitlement
• Proof of Right to work in the UK (birth certificate or Passport)
• Valid CPC & Digi Tacho card
• No DR10 endorsements on driving record
• Ability to work nights away from home comfortably
• Safety boots and Hi-vis
