Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 or Class 2 Driver looking for regular, ongoing work?
We are currently recruiting reliable and professional HGV Drivers to work from our client's depot in Cleckheaton, with consistent work available for the right drivers.
With various early start times between 03:30 and 07:00, this is an excellent opportunity for drivers who prefer getting on the road early and finishing earlier in the day.
The Role
- HGV Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (C) driving
- Regular, ongoing work
- Early starts between 03:30 - 07:00
- Various start times available
- Saturday work required
- Deliveries to stores and customer locations
- Handball involved, so drivers must be comfortable with manual handling
- Drivers will be required to open and close stores when making deliveries
- Complete delivery paperwork and follow delivery procedures
- Carry out daily vehicle checks
- Ensure goods are delivered safely and on time
- Represent the company professionally at customer locations
The role involves a hands-on approach, including manual handling and store deliveries. Similar local HGV vacancies are currently highlighting handball, early starts and Saturday working, so being clear about these requirements upfront helps attract drivers who are genuinely suited to the role.

Full Training Provided
Don't worry if you haven't carried out this particular type of delivery work before.
Full training will be provided, including the procedures required for store deliveries and opening/closing stores.
All drivers will be required to successfully complete the induction process before starting the role.
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous HGV driving experience preferred
- Comfortable with early starts
- Willing to work Saturdays
- Comfortable with handball/manual handling
- Professional and reliable approach
- Good customer service skills
- Able to work independently
