Finish Times: Approx. 12:30 PM β 2:30 PM (dependent on workload)

About the Role: This role is advertised by Smart Solutions on behalf of our client who is looking for Refuse Loaders to support their team during the busy peak holiday period.
Nature of the Work & Key Duties:
- Movement of various sized bins and lifting of bagged waste
- Attaching bins to truck for mechanical tipping
- Throwing bagged waste into the rear of the vehicle manually
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Providing courteous service to the public
- Assisting drivers with route tasks in a safe and efficient manner
Essential Skills & Requirements:
- Early starts from 4:00 AM
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Good team player and communicator
- Awareness of health and safety in public and roadside environments
Induction and Health & Safety briefing on Day One
1β2 days of practical training before route assignment
Safe vehicle entry/exit
Use of rear compaction equipment
All necessary PPE will be supplied
Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break daily
Temporary contract managed by Smart Solutions
Must be reliable, punctual, and ready for physically active work
