Your Role Will Involve:
Providing dedicated 1:1 or small group support to pupils with a range of needs, such as Autism (ASC), ADHD, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
Working closely with class teachers and the school SENCO to effectively implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Using your patience, creativity, and proven behaviour management skills to create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
Adapting activities to ensure pupils can access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
Building trusting relationships and acting as a positive role model for the children you support.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school or specialist SEN setting.
A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is desirable but not essential if you have significant experience.
A confident and resilient nature, with the ability to adapt quickly to new school environments.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or the willingness to apply for a new one.
The right to work in the UK.
