We are looking for an experienced Loading Shovel Operator to work at a fast-paced waste recycling center in Polmont FKβ This role involves pushing up material in tipping hall for material handler, maintaining stockpiles/moving materials, loading bulkers and tippers. Maintaining cleaning and greasing fueling as part of daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Operate a loading shovel to move and load waste and recyclable materials
β’ Follow site health & safety procedures at all times
β’ Operating Mobile plant safely
β’ Prestart checks / defect reporting
β’ Pushing waste in to heaps from the shed receiving walls
β’ Loading and Tipping
β’ Follow company procedures
β’ Maintaining mobile plant IE greasing / cleaning
Essential Requirements:
β’ Loading shovel certificate NPORS or equivalent
β’ Previous experience working in a recycling, waste management, or similar heavy plant environment
β’ Willingness and ability to work 5 days a week including weekends
β’ Reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working with minimal supervision
Working Environment:
β’ Outdoor and indoor work, exposed to waste materials, dust, and noise
β’ Full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) provided
β’ Fast paced and physically active role
