Tom White Waste is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Loading Shovel Driver to join our recycling operations in Coventry. In this key role, youβll be responsible for safely operating heavy machinery to move, load, and manage recyclable materials on site, contributing to an efficient and environmentally responsible waste management process.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate a loading shovel to move and load waste and recyclable materials

Ensure safe handling of materials into hoppers, bays, or transport containers

Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance needs

Work closely with site operatives and supervisors to maintain smooth material flow

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Adhere to all health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:

Valid and in-date Loading Shovel licence (required)

Previous experience operating a loading shovel in a recycling or industrial environment preferred

Good understanding of health and safety practices

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of work
Working Hours & Pay:

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM β 5:00 PM

Break: 1-hour unpaid break per shift
