This school is currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to join the team. In this role you\’re offered the opportunity to train and progress in a supportive working environment. Your role will entail supporting children on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis. You\’re supporting the \’whole child\’ so in addition to supporting their education you\’re also integral in ensuring their well Being, building their confidence, developing life skills and encouraging socialisation.
This role is required on a full time permanent basis and is a term time only role. Applicants will be expected to work Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30pm.

All applicants for this position must have the following requirements to be considered:
- Relevant SEN experience (desirable)
- Previous experience working or volunteering with children or young adults (desirable)
- English and Maths GCSE or equivalent

Responsibilities:
- Supporting the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons and learning activities
- Communicating with teachers over pupils\’ progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents\’ evenings and whole school training events
