We\’re currently recruiting reliable and hard-working HGV Class 2 and 7.5 Tonne Drivers to join a dedicated refuse collection team in Exeter.
You\’ll be out on the roads with the refuse crew, driving the bin lorries and supporting with collections. This is a physical role, involving movement of wheelie bins, sacks, and other heavy items, so a good level of fitness is essential.
Experience is preferred but not essential.
Requirements:
- Full HGV Class 2 or 7.5 Tonne licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tacho cards
- Maximum of 6 penalty points
- A positive, reliable attitude and good team spirit
Details:
- For 7.5 tonne drivers, the pay rate is £14.36 per hour on PAYE accrued plus £1.73 per hour holiday pay, equating to £16.09 per hour on PAYE advanced.
- For HGV Class 2 drivers, the pay rate is £15.58 per hour on PAYE accrued plus £1.88 per hour holiday pay, equating to £17.46 per hour on PAYE advanced.
- 06:00 am start, job till finish
