Driver Hire is recruiting on behalf of our valued client for a permanent HGV Delivery Driver to join their logistics team. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a company that provides high-quality mobile furniture solutions to schools, leisure centres, and other venues across the UK-and occasionally Europe.
This is not a standard driving role. It requires a professional, customer-focused approach, delivering a \βwhite glove\β service, which includes delivery, setup, and basic product assembly on site.
Key Responsibilities

Drive and deliver mobile furniture (e.g., table seating units, staging) to schools and public venues.

Provide a full white glove service, including delivery to location, setup, demonstration, and packaging removal.

Complete basic assembly tasks on site (e.g., bolting stools to table frames β training provided).

Occasionally stay overnight (typically for longer runs in Scotland, Wales, etc.) in an 18-tonne truck, fitted with a bunk, microwave, and fridge.

Load vehicles on Fridays in preparation for the following week\βs deliveries.
What We\βre Looking For

Valid Category C (Class 2) licence, digi card and up-to-date CPC.

Physically fit β role involves manual handling and setup.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Flexible with occasional overnight stays (overnight allowance paid at Β£26.20/night).

Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check (child barred list included). This will be processed and paid for by the customer.
