Driver Hire Edinburgh City is recruiting a reliable and motivated Class 2 / HGV 2 (Cat C) driver to join a busy, well-established waste and recycling company based in the East Lothian area. The Role: Monday to Friday – enjoy your weekends off! Start times : Between 05:00 – 06:00 Work alongside a driver\’s mate Collect waste from city centre and surrounding locations Operate the weighbridge and complete daily vehicle checks This is a 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity – impress during your probation and join the company full time! What You\’ll Need: A valid Category C (HGV 2) licence CPC and Digital Tachograph cards No more than 6 penalty points (sorry, no DD, DR, CD or IN endorsements) Previous experience in a similar driving role is advantageous Pay Rates (Advance Holiday Pay): £16.81 per hour basic £22.40 per hour overtime Why Work With Us?
