Job Introduction
Building Maintenance Engineers help maintain our automated Regional Distribution Centre in Amesbury, Wiltshire, a purpose built one million sq. ft. site which supports our plans to grow from 580 to 1,000 stores.
As a Building Maintenance Engineer you areresponsible for the continuous running ofsite facilities;maintaining equipment to a high standard, in turn reducing production downtime.
For this recruitment campaign, we are looking for an experienced engineer with an electrical bias [or mechanical bias].
Job Overview
- Ensure adherence to health and safety and security
- Work at height
- Maintain automated doors and dock levers to reduce downtime
- Maintain stock moving equipment
- Keep maintenance software up to date
- Organise maintenance between production requirements
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with good practice, relevant legislation and Company standards
Minimum Criteria To Apply
- Both electrical and mechanical skills
- Experience and knowledge of building services and facilities engineering
- Qualified in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and able to read electrical and mechanical drawing
- Understand hydraulics and pneumatics
- A confident communicator with excellent organisational and problem solving skills and a real \'can do\' attitude
- Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship desirable
