Our very busy client in Jedburgh is looking for reliable and safety-conscious Yard Operators to support the smooth running of their logistics and warehouse operations.
Experienced in organising and maintaining the yard, ensuring safe storage and movement of vehicles, goods, and equipment while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Willing and able to work the shifts required – 06.00 to 14.00 and 12.00 to 20.00 (on rotation) Mon to Fri.
Up to £13.17 per hour
Key Responsibilities

Safely manage and maintain the yard, including vehicle and goods movements.

Operate forklifts and heavy machinery (Counterbalance/Reach Truck).

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Support stock control and loading/unloading operations.

Report hazards, incidents, or equipment issues promptly.

Work collaboratively with logistics, warehouse, and transport teams.
What We\’re Looking For

Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or distribution environment.

Forklift licence (Counterbalance/Reach Truck essential; telehandler/crane desirable).

Good communication and organisational skills.

Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Strong commitment to Health & Safety.

Reliable, adaptable, and a positive team player.
