We have a Traffic Marshall role available within Holcim UK, based at their Bardon Hill quarry site. This role is ideal for someone with great communication skills who is proactive, safety-conscious, and enjoys working outdoors in a high-activity environment.

Role: Traffic Marshall

Location: Bardon Hill Quarry, LE67 1TL

Rate: £12.21 per hour (PAYE)

Contract length: Until the end of 2025

Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Direct HGVs to the correct loading zones under automatic filling systems
  • Allocate parking spaces and coordinate vehicle movement to reduce confusion and congestion
  • Act as a visible point of contact for drivers and ensure safe site navigation
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with drivers and team members
  • Support on-site safety practices across vehicle loading operations

Essential requirements:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Previous face-to-face customer service experience

Desirable requirements:

  • Previous experience in a quarry, construction site, or transport marshalling role
  • Familiarity with working on live industrial sites
