Sarens UK is looking for a CPCS Blue Card Crawler Crane Operator to join our team in the coming weeks. Salary is on application.

You will ensure all work is done safely and correctly by providing high-quality lifting services to our customers, prioritising the safety of employees, customers, and the public.

Job Purpose/Objectives of a Crawler Crane Operator:

  • SHEQ & Compliance: Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with Sarens’ SHEQ standards. Ensure all activities comply with Sarens’ SHEQ standards, policies, instructions, and applicable laws.
  • Daily Operations: Check all necessary documents (e.g., planning instructions, certificates, lifting plans, load charts) before starting work. Review transport routes and sites for obstacles and accessibility. Assess local weather conditions prior to operations. Load and unload crane parts safely. Operate and control the crane independently, following manufacturing instructions. Maintain equipment cleanliness and operational condition, including refuelling as needed. Inspect the crane and equipment for damage before, during, and after operations. Perform daily, first-line, and preventive maintenance. Report any damage and irregularities promptly. Complete and submit Maintenance Checklists and Work Record Sheets on time, obtaining client signatures if required. Provide feedback to the line or functional Manager regarding work and potential additional tasks. Follow Sarens’ standards, company policies, and client instructions in all tasks and training.
