We are recruiting for our client a builders merchant who requires a member of staff for the position of Class 2 Hiab driver.
What does the role involve?
As HGV Driver, you will be working in a safety critical role and be responsible for delivering to a schedule and working to timescales.
You will be required to maintain good care of your vehicle, ensure all loads are secured, perform daily safety checks, and keep transport documents and paperwork updated.
The successful candidate will require:
Valid Class 2 licence
Hiab
Valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
Experience in multi-drop driving for a delivery or distribution company
A friendly, professional manner and dedicated to great customer service
This is Ad hoc work.
We also offer the option to have your holiday accrual paid each week with your wage, which will raise your hourly earnings from £16.50 PAYE £20.50 with holiday pay.
