A new opportunity has become available for an additional position for a Class 1 LGV driver for our Bolton based client. This position will involve driving a tanker collecting powders. The tankers have their own pump for blowing the powder into the silo on the client premises. This role is generally Monday to Friday with early starts (04:00) and also may require the occasional Saturday shift. When permanent, the contract will be classed as any 5 out of 7 days. Overtime is payable after 45 hours. Minimum of 12 months experience required. No more than 6 points and none of the following endorsement codes on licence: CD, DD, DG, DR, IN, TT.

Responsibilities:- Operate lorries in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Safely load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Conduct pre & post use vehicle checks each day.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while driving and during loading/unloading procedures.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver in a similar commercial driving role would be advantageous but not essential.
- Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate referenceable experience.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation.
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: £36,000.00 - £38,600.00 per year
