Driver Hire Blackburn is currently recruiting for an experienced Telehandler Driver to work on behalf of a well‑established construction client based in Burnley. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety‑conscious CPCS Telehandler Driver or NPORS Telehandler Operator looking for ongoing construction site work in Lancashire.
The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting site operations, including the safe unloading and movement of roof trusses, construction materials, and site deliveries.
Telehandler Driver Duties:
- Operating a Telehandler safely and efficiently on a busy construction site
- Taking deliveries of roof trusses and construction materials
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials around site
- Supporting site management and trades as required
- Conducting daily vehicle checks
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Assisting with general site logistics
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS Telehandler Card or NPORS Telehandler Certification
- Previous experience operating a Telehandler on construction sites
- Good understanding of site safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual approach to work
- Experience handling large deliveries such as roof trusses is advantageous
