They are currently seeking Port Service Operatives to join their dynamic team and help ensure the smooth and safe operation of one of the busiest ports in the region.

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: 4 Days On / 4 Days Off (12-hour shifts)
Average Hours: 42 hours per week
Salary: £37,015.45 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
- Driving a Tugmaster to transfer trailers on and off vessels safely and efficiently.
- Mooring and assisting in the loading and unloading of vessels on arrival.
- Traffic marshalling of freight and passenger vehicles to ensure safe embarkation and disembarkation.
- Housekeeping of port areas and carrying out other routine operational duties as required.
Shift Details:
This role operates on a 4 Days On / 4 Days Off rotating shift pattern, consisting of 12-hour shifts: 2 x Day Shifts: 6:00am - 6:00pm, 2 x Night Shifts: 6:00pm - 6:00am, followed by 4 days off. Average working hours are 42 hours per week. Flexibility and reliability are essential.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience operating large vehicles such as buses, HGVs, Tugmasters, agricultural machinery, or similar equipment. (Please note, an HGV or Bus licence is not required.)
- Previous exposure to port operations or similar logistics environments is advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and structured operational processes.
