We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join a well established logistics operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver looking for consistent hours and excellent rates of pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 vehicles in line with UK driving regulations
- Adhere to all health & safety procedures and transport compliance requirements
Hours & Pay
- £16.00 per hour for the first 50 hours
- £22.00 per hour for all hours worked over 50
- Most drivers typically work 55-60 hours per week
- No breaks deducted from the first 50 hours
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience
- ADR licence preferred but not essential
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
