We are looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to start ASAP for our growing client base across the IP postcode, with all the support from our experienced Driver Hire team in Bury St Edmunds.

The Successful Class 1 HGV Driver Will Receive:

  • £16.29 - £16.79 per hour
  • Guaranteed 8.5hrs per day
  • 28 days holiday prorated on PAYE
  • Upskilling to HGV, ADR and HIAB after satisfactory probation period

What To Expect As a Class 1 HGV Driver:

  • Monday to Friday schedule with flexible start times.
  • You will be delivering animal bedding (pallets & bulk), and collecting bulk trailers from saw mills.
  • Deliveries will be using a Moffett and include spreading bedding using a Bobcat. Full training will be provided.
  • Overtime is paid after 42.5hrs per week. Occasional Saturdays and nights out will be required during busy periods.

As a Class 1 HGV Driver You Must Have:

  • Full UK Manual Licence with Cat CE
  • Valid CPC & Digicard
  • Minimum 1yr Experience On Class 1
  • Be comfortable working in industry environments
  • No more than 6 effective penalty points
  • No DG, DD or IN endorsements

This position is commutable from Ipswich, Woodbridge, Felixstowe, Stowmarket, Bury St Edmunds and other areas nearby to Ipswich.
