Driver Hire Bridgwater & Taunton is recruiting an experienced Class 2 Driver for an established distribution business based near Ilminster. This is a Monday-to-Friday position delivering chilled and ambient products to customers across the region.

The Role:

  • Driving a Class 2 temperature-controlled vehicle
  • Delivering chilled and ambient products
  • Completing approximately 5–7 drops per day
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks
  • Ensuring products are delivered safely and on time
  • Completing delivery paperwork accurately
  • Providing a professional service to customers
  • Following all company and health and safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Valid Category C/Class 2 licence
  • Minimum of eight months’ Class 2 driving experience
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Comfortable completing multi-drop deliveries
  • Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and Working Time regulations
  • Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach
  • Able to start work from 06:30
