Driver Hire Aberdeen is recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and experienced HGV Driver to operate a volumetric concrete mixer based in Aberdeen.

This is a varied, hands‑on role involving the safe delivery and on‑site production of concrete for customers across Aberdeen and the surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will provide a professional and efficient service while ensuring the vehicle and equipment are operated safely and maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a volumetric concrete mixer safely and efficiently.
  • Deliver and produce concrete on customer sites to specification.
  • Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks.
  • Maintain accurate delivery and production records.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Comply with all road transport, health and safety, and company procedures.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Previous experience operating a volumetric mixer is preferred, although training may be provided for the right candidate.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • A flexible and positive approach to work.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety.
