Driver Hire Bridgwater & Taunton are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HGV Driver to work as part of a two-person crew on survey and maintenance contracts across the South West. This is more than just a driving role. You will be responsible for driving a Class 2 support vehicle to various locations, but you will also be expected to support the operative on site when equipment is being used. This is a mix of driving and non-driving.
The Role
You will be working on highway-related contracts, travelling to different sites across the South West.
Duties Will Include:
- Driving the Class 2 support vehicle to and from site
- Working as part of a two-person crew
- Supporting the operative with survey and maintenance activities
- Assisting with equipment on site
- Jetting and camera work
- Working safely around highways and live working environments
- Completing varied work across different locations
This role would suit a driver who is happy to be hands-on and understands that the job involves both driving and site-based support work.
