Job Description: Driver Hire is seeking reliable Class 1 Drivers for our client in Ayr that can handle a variety of shifts best suited to yourself. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking for flexible working hours. This role involves a variety of driving assignments, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods across different locations.
HGV Driver Responsibilities include:
- Safely operate Class 1 HGV vehicles in compliance with all road and traffic regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Ensure timely delivery and collection of goods to designated locations.
- Secure loads and ensure goods are transported safely.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle mileage, and hours worked.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
As an HGV Driver you must have:
- Valid Class 1 HGV (C+E) license.
- No more than 3 penalty points
- Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations.
- Excellent driving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills
