Driver Hire Ashford & Tonbridge are looking for HGV Class 2 ADR Tanks Drivers to join our client in Cranbrook for the winter season.
Looking to get your ADR Tanks qualification and secure a well-paid driving role? You pay for your ADR Tanks training upfront, then after successfully completing 4 weeks of work with us, you can receive a rebate of 50% of your training fee up to a maximum of £500. With training costing approximately £650, this means you could get up to £500 back after just 4 successful weeks of work.

The Role
As a Class 2 ADR Tanker Driver, you will:
- Complete multidrop tanker deliveries to farms and commercial premises
- Work a 4 on / 2 off rota, including weekends
- Start at approximately 06:00
- Work an average of 9.75 - 11 hours per day
- Ensure deliveries are made with a high level of customer service
- Work safely, professionally and in compliance with the client's operational procedures
- Carry out some manual handling, including securing pipes and associated equipment
What you'll need
- Class 2 (Cat C) licence with valid CPC
- Digital tachograph card
- ADR Tanks qualification - candidates without ADR Tanks may be considered, subject to successfully completing the required training
- Relevant HGV driving experience for insurance purposes
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- No DD or DR convictions within the last year
Seasonal Winter Contract
This is a seasonal position running from the end of August 2026 until the end of March / beginning of April 2027. Driver Hire can also offer guaranteed-hours contracts through the summer months, helping provide continuity of work, with the opportunity to return to this winter contract next year.
The role may suit candidates living in and around Ashford, Hawkhurst, Cranbrook, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Crowborough, Maidstone, Battle and Hastings.
