Class 2 HGV Driver (Cat C) – Temp to Perm Opportunity Location: Near Dover, Kent Contract: Temporary to Permanent Pay: £15.00 per hour (overtime after 45 hours, £21.75)

We’re recruiting a Class 2 (Cat C) HGV Driver to join our client based near Dover, Kent, with an immediate start available.

The Role

  • 07:00 starts, Monday to Friday
  • Driving a 26-tonne flatbed vehicle
  • Delivering timber components including roof trusses, open web joists, I-joists, spandrel panels, and gable panels
  • No nights out required
  • Ensuring loads are safely secured and transported
  • Complying with all health, safety, and road regulations
  • What You’ll Need
  • Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence with Digital Tacho and CPC Card
  • Previous experience driving flatbed vehicles preferred
  • Good understanding of load security and safe driving practices
  • Strong communication skills and a reliable attitude
