Driver Hire Ashford is recruiting an experienced Coach Driver to support local clients across the Ashford area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for flexible, ongoing work with a variety of assignments.
The Role
You will be responsible for operating coach and passenger vehicles safely and professionally while providing excellent customer service to passengers.
Assignments may include a combination of
- School runs
- School day trips
- Private hire day trips
- Airport runs
- Other passenger transport services
During quieter periods, we can discuss alternative driving opportunities, including van driving or HGV work for drivers who hold the relevant licence.
Responsibilities
- Transport passengers to planned destinations and routes
- Carry out vehicle safety checks before and after shifts
- Provide a high standard of customer service
- Comply with road traffic legislation, driver hours and safety regulations
- Complete all relevant paperwork and route information accurately
Requirements
- Full Category D (Coach/Bus) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous coach driving experience preferred
- Professional and customer-focused attitude
- Good understanding of driver hours and transport regulations
- Flexible approach to different types of passenger transport work
